Maltese can get into a bit of trouble, especially when they find things on the floor that can fit in their mouths. It is important to puppy proof your home and remove anything that can be eaten or swallowed by a puppy running loose. Your puppy will need to see a vet if you notice anything unusual, like vomiting more than once, bloody or runny stool, if he/she is laying down in a corner and doesn’t want to get up, if puppy is walking out of balance and falling (it is a sign of low blood sugar), if they don’t want to eat or drink. There can be many reasons for this, but it isn’t normal and should be checked by a veterinarian.
